Tel Hashomer Ltd. is the technology transfer office of The Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer. Tel Hashomer Ltd. is the exclusive owner of inventions and technologies developed by the Hospital scientists and medical doctors, and it promotes the transfer of such to industrial parties. The revenues generated by Tel Hashomer Ltd. activities are allocated to support further research and academic activities in the Hospital.
Our main strategy is licensing the Hospital's inventions to third parties to promote their further development and commercialization. Our company makes every effort to suit the needs and interests of the licensees and investors.
We currently hold 60 technologies in the fields of Therapeutics, Stem Cells, Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Imaging, and Biological Research Tools. About a third of such technologies are at different commercialization stages, stressing the medical relevance and commercial potential of the technologies developed at the Hospital. Around 10 new patents are submitted by the company each year.
